The Krewe of Endymion announces the entertainment for Mardi Gras’s Main Event in 2025, the Krewe of Endymion Parade and Extravaganza. The 59^th annual Super Krewe will roll down the streets of New Orleans and for the first time since 2019, will parade on its traditional route on St. Charles Avenue, as it heads into the Caesar’s Superdome for the mega-party on Saturday, March 1, 2025. “WE ARE BACK HOME IN THE DOME,” according to Krewe Captain Dan Kelly. Global pop superstar Katy Perry along with multi-GRAMMY Award-winning, diamond-selling band Train will headline the Extravaganza along with The Mixed Nuts, Groovy 7, and The Wiseguys.

Since her Capitol Records debut in 2008, Katy Perry has racked up a cumulative 115 billion streams alongside worldwide sales of over 70 million adjusted albums and 143 million tracks. She is the biggest-selling female artist in Capitol history. Katy is one of only twelve artists in history to have surpassed 100 million certified units with her solo single releases – and the first-ever Capitol Records recording artist in RIAA history to earn three RIAA Diamond singles – for “Firework,” “Dark Horse” and “Roar.” Since then, she’s added a few more to her collection with “California Gurls,” “E.T,” and both “Teenage Dream” the SINGLE AND ALBUM going Diamond. Signature floats include The Ed Muniz Founder’s Tribute, Papa Joe’s SS Endymion, Club Endymion, The E-TV Float, which beams live crowd shots on a gigantic 20’ x 9’ LED screen, and the largest float in Mardi Gras, at over 300 feet long, the Pontchartrain Beach, “Then and Now” carrying 270 riders.

Endymion is also unveiling a brand-new float this season honoring its mascot “Endy.” The float will feature LED lighting and carry 120 riders.
